In July 2014, ARTzheimer's opened the doors to its first ever exhibition. With almost a year in the planning stage, we opened the doors to the event with over three hundred guests attending the opening nights event. We had the esteemed pleasure and honour to have Emily O' Reilly, European Ombudsman, officially open our ceremony live from Brussels.

In March 2017, ARTzheimer's opened the doors to it's sixth exhibition titled 'Light and Shade' at The Civic Theatre in Tallaght. The exhibition is currently on longterm display at the theatre and we would like to publicly thank theatre director, Michael Barker-Caven for hosting this ongoing show. The exhibition has been designed and curated to evoke responses from the public. Their personal feedback will help us start honest and brave conversations about Alzheimer's.

In November 2014, ARTzheimer's second exhibition took place in the stunning location of Aras Chronain House in Clondalkin Village. In attendance on the opening night were many of the boys and girls from the two local primary schools who had taken part in ARTzheimer's Schools Pilot Program. Along with their teachers, principles and family members, the opening nights event was a truly memorable one for all involved.
In July 2015, ARTzheimer's was invited by Carlos Garcia de Alba, The Mexican Ambassador to Ireland, to showcase its art collection. This was indeed a very special event as we we're celebrating our first year anniversary of ARTzheimer's. Special guests on the day included Paddy Houlihan from The Chieftains, Minister for Health, Kathleen Lynch and Jimmy Deenihan, Former Minister for Arts.
ARTzheimer's was invited by the team at ART SOURCE 2015 to showcase its collection for the general public. Along with the 'Jack & Jill Foundation', ARTzheimer's was also selected by the organisers as their Social Enterprise stand for the three day event in the RDS. Read more about this here:
